The Bible tells us we need to attend church so we can worship God with other believers and be taught His Word for our spiritual growth. First and foremost, we are committed to teaching through the entire Bible. The Bible is essential for knowing God and His will for our lives. We are also a church that believes in the power of prayer. Quite simply, for followers of Jesus Christ prayer is the best way to communicate with God. Prayer is the vehicle for daily dialog with the One who created us. We also believe we are to be His hands and feet. Being the hands and feet of Jesus means we serve the needs of others. We go where others won’t go and we reach out to the unreachable. Fellowship is an important part of Calvary Red Rock. Fellowship is one of those words Christians use a lot but rarely define. We see that fellowship means friendly relationship, companionship, community of interest, and communion. Jesus died for more than simply saving you; He died so that He could be in fellowship with you. Growing in Christ is more than doing spiritual disciplines; it’s about growing in intimacy and friendship with the Creator of the world!
