Casa De Luz: Women's Mentoring

Many of these children are doing well in school, and the next step is helping at home. A child’s education is largely based on the help that they receive at home. Because of this, Casa de Luz launched their women’s program. Many of the women in this program are the mothers of students in our tutoring program.

We help women change their mindset towards success – we help them with receiving their G.E.D. or with getting them jobs. When these women start having small successes in their lives, we can see their mindset changing toward independence and relying on themselves for success.
